In 2016, Lukr independently released his debut song “Fucked Up Summer”, causing a viral global reaction. His subsequent single releases have gone on to receive radio play on tastemaker stations like KTWN in Minneapolis and Q108 and Lightning 100 in Nashville, TN, in addition to driving his Spotify channel to 9+ million streams. Since then, streaming data has continually emphasized a particularly dense fan concentration in GSA, as well as in Italy, the Nordic countries, and UK. Alongside new music and videos, 2017 introduced Lukr’s live show, with multiple sold-out crowds that included his headlining debut and an electrifying and sweaty packed out performance at SXSW in Austin, Texas. 2018 marked the release of 2 singles: “Pretend”, a collaboration with Grammy-winning producer Jim Jonsin [Beyonce, Kid Cudi], and “Astronaut” (featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday). Lukr’s next song promises to be his most popular yet: the infectious piano-driven and beat-boxed single “Big Kids” drops alongside a bright music video bursting with bikes, water balloons and firecrackers.
