Laura Brizuela

Laura Brizuela didn’t pursue music – music pursued her. Growing up in Lemgo, Bielefeld with Paraguayan parents, Brizuela was 8 years old when she was picked by her teacher to play Mary and sing a solo in a Christmas musical. It was on stage in front of 2000 people where Brizuela had an epiphany: “THAT’s what I was born for!” Music kept following her through adolescence, and after doing serious soul-searching at a Bible college in California, she finally made a decision to focus on singing and songwriting in 2019. Two years after meeting her producer Mateo Diaz and marrying him Brizuela put out ‘Sanguine EP’ followed by a steady stream of new tracks, receiving recognition from Clout and Iggy Magazine for her soulful R&B-pop hybrid. Signed to Embassy of Music in December 2022, her latest single ‘Introverted Extrovert’ is out on 30 June.
