NTO is widely regarded as one of the defining artists of today’s international electronic music scene.
Since the release of his breakthrough album Apnea in 2021, acclaimed collaborations with artists including Paul Kalkbrenner, Tricky and Monolink, as well as the collaborative album Forever Friends with Sofiane Pamart, have firmly established the Marseille-born producer as one of electronic music’s most distinctive voices.

Apnea alone has amassed more than 150 million streams, earned Gold certification, and received editorial support from leading publications including
DJ Mag DE, FAZEmag, Mixmag, GROOVE, KALTBLUT and Laut.

Extensive international touring and appearances at renowned festivals including Time Warp, Dour, Paléo, Untold and Tomorrowland have cemented NTO’s reputation for creating deeply emotional and atmospheric electronic music.

Yet after years spent travelling the world, performing on major stages and building an international career, Anthony Favier found himself longing to reconnect with the person behind the artist name.
Following more than a year of sobriety and an intense period of personal reflection, he returns with
NAKED — his most intimate and revealing work to date.

Music born from a new beginning

Written between Cassis, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence and Corsica,
NAKED embodies the spirit of renewal.

Created in Anthony Favier’s new home — a peaceful retreat away from Marseille — the album emerged from a period marked by grief, transformation, the search for hope and a desire for inner calm.
Through guitar and piano lessons, NTO developed a new musical language that expands his emotional and sonic universe.

Known for combining progressive electronic music with remarkable sensitivity, NTO invites listeners into a richer emotional landscape on NAKED — delicate yet powerful, fragile yet comforting.
The album blends organic textures with liberating techno energy, creating an intimate journey through emotion, colour and renewed optimism.

Recurring motifs of flowers (Myosotis), hummingbirds (Humming Bird) and human connection (I Cared For You, Ensemble) run throughout the album, alongside collaborations with Sinego, Mont Rouge and Romain Garcia.

The first glimpse into this new creative chapter arrived with Fior di Macchia, inspired by an unexpected personal discovery.
While clearing his parents’ home, Anthony Favier uncovered drawings, paintings and writings created by his father under an earlier artistic identity.
These memories became the foundation for music that connects past and present.

“NAKED has allowed me to feel calm and at peace with myself again,” says NTO.
Through this album, he offers listeners comfort and hope.
A free and cathartic work, NAKED blends childhood memories, nostalgia and the poetic delicacy of a watercolour painting.
